Requirements

  • Must hold a minimum ACA-CSC Development Level (DL) Certified certification
  • Preferably hold a minimum CSIA Level 3
  • Willing and able to work outdoors in a variety of unpredictable weather conditions
  • Previous race, coaching and/or ski instructing experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills and excellent customer service skills
  • Must be able to work weekends (Saturdays and Sundays) from mid-December to end of March
  • Successful applicants (18yrs of age+) are required to provide a Criminal Background Check (Vulnerable Sector Search)
  • Must be able to work weekends (Saturdays and Sundays) from Christmas through March Break

Responsibilities

  • Managing daily race training and race day operations and environments
  • Managing schedules and inputting payroll for staff daily
  • Supporting Race Coaches and Race Crew daily with leadership and training
  • Work in cooperation with fellow Supervisors to manage and support the coaching staff and ensure teams are run efficiently, safely, and effectively, while maintaining excellent levels of service
  • Meet regularly with the Manager, Race and Events and Assistant Manager, Race and Events, to ensure clear communication on team activities, budget guidelines, and performance objectives
  • Ensure the daily schedule is accurate
  • Ensure the overall quality of Race products and delivery by monitoring the on-hill performance of staff, providing feedback and coaching to staff in a timely manner, and performing service recovery to guests when necessary
