3+ years experience in live haul or equivalent
Class A CDL preferred
Welding experience preferred
Basic computer skills (sending and answering emails, building and changing spreadsheets)
Supervisory responsibility for a group of personnel performing identical and related tasks
Travel: 1 per year

Responsibilities

Schedule the catching, loading, and hauling of live broilers to the processing plant
Monitor DOAs (Dead on Arrival) to ensure the health and safety of the broilers during transport
Promote safety and ensure a safe working environment for all personnel involved in live haul operations
Monitor drivers' time and ELD logs to ensure compliance with regulations
Review and coach Drive Cam videos to improve driver performance
Ensure drivers and catchers arrive on time at the farm and plant
Work with catch contractors, Live Haul Manager, and driver supervisor to ensure operations run smoothly
Make necessary changes to the catch and haul schedule to optimize efficiency
Supervise and assist personnel in the repair of cages to maintain equipment functionality
Perform other responsibilities as the need arises to support live haul operations
