Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent related experience
Five (5) or more years of related experience (previous experience in electric distribution strongly preferred)
Previous experience managing large and complex projects preferred
Previous experience in a supervisory role preferred
Working knowledge of methods, work practices, and procedures regarding the safe construction, operation, and maintenance of electric T&D facilities and infrastructure at both secondary and primary operating voltages
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Must maintain switching and tagging qualifications
Strong knowledge of computers and related technology; ability to use PC desktop applications (e.g., Microsoft Word & Excel)
Valid Motor Vehicle License required (D.O.T. Driver’s License preferred)

Availability for emergency restoration assignments, storm duty, on-call rotation, and travel between MA/CT/NH
Ability to work outside in varied conditions and terrain, including adverse weather, and in office environments requiring sitting, walking, standing, stair climbing, and paperwork
Responsibilities
Provide leadership to ensure safe, timely, and efficient completion of work efforts related to construction, operation, maintenance, and emergency restoration of electric distribution and transmission systems
Ensure effective coordination among and between individuals and departments in the district/division
Actively promote and enforce a safety-first work environment and positive safety culture; set safety expectations, resolve safety issues timely, communicate safety lessons learned, and promote continuous learning of safe work methods
Make decisions and prioritize work to ensure safe and appropriate use of assigned resources
Set clear expectations, provide ongoing feedback to employees on performance, address performance issues, and conduct comprehensive performance reviews per bargaining unit contract
Ensure proper application of local union contracts and agreements; work with managers and employees to resolve grievances and concerns timely
Participate in pre-construction reviews and activities to ensure timely and efficient execution of field operations; coordinate work with other utilities, Eversource departments, and outside contractors
Ensure work is completed within budgetary guidelines
Prepare, review, and approve time, expense, materials, and other company records accurately and timely per guidelines
Demonstrate and role model a customer-first attitude; seek to quickly resolve customer issues by collaborating with employees and other departments
Fulfill storm duty assignments and participate in on-call rotation as required
Engage and motivate employees to deliver the best possible customer experience
