Requirements

  • Currently pursuing an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Training & Development, Industrial Engineering, Human Resources, Education, or a related field
  • Basic understanding of manufacturing environments or processes (through coursework or prior experience)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication abilities
  • Eagerness to learn and contribute in a team-oriented environment
  • Ability to work in both office and manufacturing floor environments
  • Must be able to sit, stand, and use a computer for extended periods
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (Green Card holder), or hold asylee/refugee status as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)
  • Qualify as a U.S. person under ITAR and/or EAR, or a person to be approved for export license
  • Occasional travel within the U.S. may be required
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with or exposure to Learning Management Systems (LMS)
  • Interest in training, instructional design, or workforce development
  • Familiarity with aerospace industry standards or safety procedures
  • Enthusiasm for working in a manufacturing setting
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the creation and organization of training materials, including work instructions and presentations
  • Support the scheduling and coordination of on-site training sessions for manufacturing employees
  • Help track training attendance, certifications, and qualification data using training management systems (e.g., LMS)
  • Collaborate with team members and subject matter experts to gather information and update training documentation
  • Participate in the review and improvement of training content to ensure alignment with aerospace standards (e.g., AS9100) and safety protocols
  • Aid in the setup and facilitation of hands-on training sessions
  • Observe and take notes during training sessions to provide feedback and assist with follow-up
  • Support training evaluations and surveys to help measure training effectiveness
  • Assist with general administrative duties related to training and development projects
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of training processes and documentation
  • Other duties as assigned by the Training Manager
