Requirements

  • 3 months of work history with the same employer
  • Ability and willingness to perform basic math functions (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
  • Ability and willingness to work overtime and/or weekends as needed
  • Ability and willingness to complete all paperwork and SAP functions
  • Ability and willingness to push/pull/lift with arms below waist/at shoulder/above shoulder level 20 pounds or greater frequently
  • Ability and willingness to lift/lower/carry 20 pounds or greater with back and legs
  • Ability and willingness to use both hands for rapid mental muscular coordination, simultaneously
  • Ability and willingness to use both hands to work
  • Ability and willingness to stand/walk/climb/bend for up to 10 hours
  • Ability and willingness to flex/grip with wrist/hands frequently
  • Ability and willingness to work in wet conditions and cold temperatures at 35 degrees
  • Ability and willingness to distinguish between shades and/or colors

Responsibilities

  • Setup and operate all stuffers and related equipment
  • Keep the tables and conveyors full of meat at all times
  • Twirl product while stuffing
  • Use the proper equipment and the correct size linker while stuffing
  • Assist in cleaning metal detectors
  • Perform general housekeeping duties in the department
  • Maintain general manufacturing practices
  • Comply with all safety, food safety, GMP and SQF requirements
  • Perform all positions of job rotation as needed
  • Perform any other work as assigned by management
