Candidates must possess a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited institution and a Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in the state of Maryland. Consideration will be given to candidates with their E.I.T. or those on the pathway to obtain their P.E. license. A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in professional engineering projects is required, along with strong communication skills. Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, knowledge of surveying principles, and familiarity with storm water best management practices are essential. Candidates should also have experience with local, state, and federal regulations regarding design and the permitting process.
The Structural Engineer will be responsible for design, analysis, and project management in civil and structural engineering. They will ensure compliance with building codes and construction practices, prepare complete construction drawings, and project documents. The engineer will also engage with local and state agencies for plan review and approval, and work on storm water calculations, drainage design, and analysis.
