Strategic Sourcing Fall Co-Op at Ameren

Candidates must be graduate or undergraduate students in a business or technical program from an accredited college or university with a minimum GPA of 2.5. Preferred coursework includes Economics, Finance, Computer Science, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Math, or Data Analytics, with completion through the junior level and a GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred. A basic understanding of analytical and statistical approaches, financial accounting experience, proficiency in Access, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, plus strong analytical, communication, teamwork skills, and initiative are required.

This is a full-time position during the fall from August to December 2026.

Interns will work primarily with a Supply Chain group member, supporting sourcing processes, transformation initiatives, category management, and activities like developing should-cost models, supplier intelligence, RFP development, demand planning, and inventory processes. You will have an assigned mentor for coaching and feedback, complete assigned tasks, execute a key project to present to executives, and participate in group meetings.

Strong candidates will have student status with a GPA of 3.0+ through junior level, preferred coursework in Supply Chain, Economics, Finance, Engineering, or Data Analytics, proficiency in Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Word, plus demonstrated analytical, communication, teamwork skills, and initiative.
