Strategic Product Consultant

Employment Type: Full-time Location Type: Remote Salary: Base Pay Range $91,800 - $126,225 plus commission for an estimated on-target earnings of $108,000 - $148,500. This role is also eligible for Equity Compensation.


Position Overview

We are seeking a Strategic Product Consultant to specialize in our Financial Management and Preconstruction product lines for Owners. This role requires a consultative mindset and deep knowledge of the real estate development and construction industry, along with Procore’s software platforms. You will guide property owner clients on best practices for utilizing Procore systems, partnering with Project Managers and Customer Success Engineers to supplement client training with technical expertise in cloud-based software and the Procore platform. We are looking for technology enthusiasts who are passionate about modernizing the construction industry.

This position reports to the Manager, Strategic Product Consultants, and can be performed remotely, provided the candidate resides in a Central or Eastern Time Zone. This is a full-time, direct employment position.


Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Project Managers to develop clients into Procore experts and evangelists through training and consultation.
  • Conduct group training webinars and in-person sessions to educate clients on Procore tools.
  • Leverage industry knowledge to improve client business processes within Procore and across their organizations.
  • Provide exceptional service and education to Procore clients through clear and effective communication.
  • Foster a positive team culture by onboarding, training, and mentoring team members.
  • Collaborate across all levels of the Procore organization to develop best practices and drive Procore's market leadership.
  • Achieve mastery of Procore’s product offerings, business model, services, emerging technologies, and Customer Success best practices.
  • Travel up to 50% to client sites, industry events, and other Procore offices.

Requirements

  • Industry Experience: 3+ years of experience in the real estate development and construction industry.
  • Transition Role: Seeking professionals looking to transition into a fast-paced software training and advisory role.
  • Previous Roles: Previous experience as a Project Engineer, Assistant Project Manager, or Assistant Construction Manager is preferred.
  • Project Development Knowledge: Experience with project development lifecycle, including scope definition, site selection, due diligence, entitlements, design, permitting, procurement, budget, schedule, and construction.
  • Estimating & Procurement Experience: Experience with take-offs, estimates/proposals, bid management and bid leveling, and buyout and contract negotiations.
  • Contract Management Experience: Experience with various contract types (lump sum, cost plus, GMP), change orders, and invoicing with architects, engineers, general contractors, subcontractors, or vendors.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
    • Experience establishing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
    • Previous training or software support experience.
