Requirements

More than 3 years of work experience in video game, strategy consulting, investment banking, PE/VC and related Internet industry
Demonstrate strategic visions, business insights and in-depth knowledge of the gaming/media/entertainment industry, and other related sectors (preferably a gamer!)
Ability in interpretation of data and identify emerging market trends and business opportunities
Must be a self-starter, comfortable with uncertainty, and ability to drive to answers through disciplined work, while also collaborating with cross-functional teams
Are effective team players with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Exceptional proficiency with MS Excel & PowerPoint; working knowledge of statistics and analysis packages
Fluent in English and Mandarin as working language, Japanese language proficiency (JLPT N1 and above preferred) is highly desired
Have an entrepreneurial spirit

Responsibilities

Work directly with senior management across global and domestic games markets
Lead projects related to our business development independently
Monitor Japanese markets including gaming, animation and entertainment sectors, identify emerging industry/technology trends
Evaluate Japan gaming investment and partnership opportunities
Drive development of new opportunities and incubate new businesses
Work in a team with high-calibre executives previously from top-tier consultancy firms and investment banks
Be responsible for supporting decision-makings for executives and leaders of business groups
Provide game changing strategy and inspire out-of-the-box thinking to senior leaders
Plan and manage business incubation, drive product innovation and new partnerships, develop and execute go-to-market plan
