Requirements

Candidates should possess strong financial modeling and Excel skills, with the ability to independently execute modeling tasks. Experience in banking, consulting, investing, or startup finance is preferred, along with at least 3 years in these fields. Strong project management and communication skills are necessary to work with senior stakeholders with minimal guidance. An MBA student or recent graduate with an interest in social impact and mission-driven finance is ideal, though non-MBA candidates with relevant professional backgrounds and strong financial modeling skills will be considered. Familiarity with capital markets, lending, or structured finance is a plus.

Responsibilities

The Strategic Finance MBA Intern will maintain and update cash flow forecasts and projections for internal management. They will support modeling work related to evolving Pursuit’s existing bond into a more flexible revenue share structure. The intern will also assist in recapitalizing the PBC entity by evaluating options and preparing materials for future financing. Additionally, they will create clean, adaptable financial models and materials for both internal and external stakeholders.
