Responsibilities

  • Lead amongst team members on the store salesfloor and backroom, aligning the team on daily business priorities
  • Drive guest experience and deliver great guest service
  • Impact store’s financial, team, and operational performance
  • Work alongside a mentor to learn effective department leadership and step into leading mentor's departments
  • Lead and motivate a team, drive sales results, merchandise products, and provide exceptional guest experiences
  • Learn guest service fundamentals and build a guest-first team culture across the store
  • Engage guests, problem-solve, and resolve issues
  • Understand retail business fundamentals
  • Set and plan department(s) monthly/quarterly workload to support business priorities
  • Manage a team of hourly team members and team leaders to deliver service and sales goals
  • Develop business strategies and goals
  • Recruit, select, and manage talent for hourly team members and leaders
  • Support execution of daily operations while building team culture and guiding achievement of goals
