Requirements

  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Speak and write English (Spanish a plus); communicate effectively and build strong relationships
  • Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, parts catalogs, and procedure manuals
  • Use basic math accurately (add, subtract, multiply, divide with whole numbers, fractions, decimals)
  • Ability to work an assortment of days, evenings, and weekends
  • Physical ability to walk/stand predominantly, talk/hear, use hands/fingers, reach, climb/balance, stoop/kneel/crouch/crawl
  • Lift/move up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds occasionally with assistance
  • Specific vision abilities: close, distance, color vision, depth perception, adjust focus
  • Safe driving and navigation ability

Responsibilities

  • Pick, stage, and safely deliver parts to pro customers
  • Pick up returns and cores
  • Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs
  • Daily collection of credit accounts
  • Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers while providing insights to CPP
  • Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase average transaction value
  • Maintain store cleanliness (floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting, parking lot)
  • General stocking (truck stocking, back stock, cycle counts)
  • Maintain knowledge of product inventory and new arrivals to assist with sales
  • Engage with walk-in customers to understand needs and recommend parts/services
  • Other duties as assigned
