  • Proficiency in managing and configuring SAN, NAS, and cloud storage solutions
  • Knowledge of storage protocols like Fibre Channel, iSCSI, and NFS
  • Experience with storage performance tuning and optimization

  • Familiarity with enterprise storage systems such as Dell/EMC, Rubrik, NetApp, Veritas, HPE, and/or Pure
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills for troubleshooting and optimizing storage systems
  • Communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders across a global organization; proficient in English
  • Ability to work independently with minimal guidance
  • Contributes to process improvements; typically resolves problems using existing solutions
  • Preferred certifications: SNIA Certified Storage Networking Expert (SCSN-E), Dell EMC Information Storage and Management V5 (DCA-ISM), Dell EMC Storage Administrator (EMCSA), NetApp Certified Data Administrator ONTAP (NCDA), NetApp Certified Implementation Engineer (NCIE), HPE Master ASE – Storage Solutions V4, HPE ATP – Storage Solutions, Pure Storage Certified Data Storage Associate, Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Data Center, Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) Data Center, Brocade Certified Network Engineer (BCNE), Brocade Certified Fabric Professional

Responsibilities

  • Administration of storage systems including SAN, NAS, and cloud data storage
  • Managing and maintaining storage infrastructure: monitoring performance, capacity planning, ensuring data integrity and security
  • Implementing data protection including backup and recovery operations and disaster recovery plans
  • Troubleshooting and diagnosing issues related to storage systems
  • Collaborating with other IT teams like network engineers and database administrators for integration and optimization
  • Evaluating and recommending enhancements to existing storage and data protection infrastructure
  • Monitoring and controlling the performance and status of the storage infrastructure
  • Staying current with advancements in data storage technology, including cloud computing and automation tools
