Requirements

  • Expertise in Storage infrastructure, Operating systems, and Zerto for backup
  • Ability to provide Operate, Admin, and Consulting support per contract terms and technical standards
  • Experience in IT infrastructure lifecycle support (planning, project management, installation, management/monitoring/troubleshooting, de-installation) compliant with ITIL
  • Skills in managing technical/service relationships with customers, subcontractors, and vendors
  • Capability to work with key customers, internal businesses, and end-user representatives
  • Proficiency in incident management (resolve single and cross-technology incidents independently, lead team on complex ones)
  • Expertise in escalation management (identify, manage, lead technical escalations; participate in formal escalations during crises)
  • Knowledge of problem management (proactive/reactive solutions, trend and root cause analysis)
  • Experience in change management/implementation (prepare, review, implement, rollback, test plans; perform risk and impact analysis)

Responsibilities

  • Resolve customer issues via telephone, email, or remote sessions
  • Reproduce issues in-house and respond in a timely manner
  • Provide regular follow-ups with customers including recommendations, updates, and action plans
  • Identify and escalate issues to vendors per Standard Operating Procedures
  • Leverage internal technical expertise (peers, mentors, knowledge base, forums, tools) for effective solutions
  • Collaborate with CoE/HW teams to diagnose and isolate complex issues
  • Provide consulting support in area of expertise
  • Maintain quality on case documentation, SLA timeframes, and operational metrics
  • Perform within team Productivity Measure (scorecard)
