  • Hold a bachelor’s degree in Accounting
  • Have successful experience in Technical Accounting and Statutory reporting
  • Have experience in leading a team
  • Have ACCA qualification
  • Have strong oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal and leadership skills

Responsibilities

  • Managing and leading team members on the execution of compliant and efficient statutory financial audits
  • Developing and considering opportunities to drive automation, productivity whilst ensuring compliant reporting
  • Establishing opportunities to empower value creation and drive cost efficiencies
  • Executing on audit requests by working closely with functional team, operations, tax, legal, company secretary and finance
  • Investigating any audit issue to allow resolution with supporting documentation
  • Identifying and evaluating risk with potential to impact on business in terms of probability and magnitude of impact and cost to define mitigation strategy to be put in place
  • Leading a team and driving technical accounting compliance, financial and operational internal controls, process simplification, and operational excellence to deliver accurate and compliant statutory financial statements
