Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in managing banking processes (experience in compliance, audit, or control unit is an additional advantage)
  • Knowledge of market standards and banking sector regulations regarding investment and corporate banking
  • Higher education in economics or related fields such as mathematics, data analysis, statistics, econometrics, or economics
  • English language proficiency in speaking and writing (minimum B1 level)
  • Very good knowledge of MS Office package [Excel, PowerPoint, Word]
  • Analytical skills and ability to "connect the dots"
  • Fluency in communication and skills in conversations with business partners
  • Initiative-taking, excellent self-organization, conscientiousness, responsibility, commitment to delivering tasks while respecting deadlines, and fostering good cooperation

Responsibilities

  • Control of compliance of processes carried out by the corporate and investment banking area
  • Monitoring within the 2nd line of defense in areas: MAD/MAR, MiFID, EMIR, Volcker, Custody, BMR
  • Identification and analysis of identified irregularities, escalation, and reporting of errors in a clear manner for the recipient (visualizing key information, e.g., in charts)
  • Issuing guidelines on the specified course of action regarding identified weaknesses
  • Identification and assessment of non-compliance risk
  • Participation in designing control processes, simplifying and automating existing analytical and control procedures, and recognizing new sources of information
  • Developing and implementing compliance regulations
  • Active cooperation within the team and with other Bank units
