Requirements

  • Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related technical field or equivalent practical experience
  • 10+ years of experience in Technical Program Management or similar roles, including significant work in compliance-oriented programs
  • Proven track record managing cross-functional programs in regulated environments, preferably in healthcare
  • Experience participating in and successfully passing external audits
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to break down complex challenges into actionable steps
  • Experience leading compliance efforts for software products that process personal data, including familiarity with HIPAA, GDPR, SOC2, ISO27001, 21 CFR Part 11, ISO 13485, NIST 800-53
  • Proven success in managing large, multi-stakeholder projects across engineering, legal, and quality teams
  • Experience with Software as a Medical Device (SaMD) compliance requirements
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced, evolving environments with both minimal and excessive process

Responsibilities

  • Drive the development and execution of a common controls fulfillment roadmap in partnership with cross-functional teams across the US and Canada
  • Maintain Verily’s library of compliance controls, mapping them to regulations, standards and internal policies with clear ownership and traceability
  • Translate compliance strategies into actionable work instructions and evidence requirements that enable “comply-by-design” for Verily products
  • Monitor and report on KPIs, prioritizing initiatives that deliver the highest impact, and communicate updates, risks and mitigation plans to senior leadership
  • Ensure scope adherence for compliance initiatives and correct deviations through retroactive alignment to defined processes
