Requirements

  • B.S. or M.S. in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering degree
  • 8+ years of relevant work experience
  • Hands-on experience operating test assets and executing tests
  • Experience with complex System Level testing
  • Knowledge of Aircraft System Architectures and/or High Voltage power distribution
  • Experience managing Complex Test program and Multi-Functional teams
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, startup-like environment
  • Highly motivated, self-starting individual with a broad set of skills and never afraid of facing complex technical challenges
  • Solution-oriented individual with a strong analytical mindset
  • Strong communication skills and ability to tailor communications to suit the audience
  • Ability to adapt quickly or propose changes needed to achieve early results in a timely fashion
  • Embrace challenges and take commitments to deliver results within reasonable expectations
  • Willingness to travel to Wisk facilities in Mountain View, Hollister, and potentially other Wisk/Boeing facilities

Responsibilities

  • Lead and operate complex Integrated System Test assets
  • Drive a cross-functional team to develop Test Asset Specifications, Plans and Scripts
  • Follow the development of test assets from requirements definition to final commissioning
  • Write test specifications, assembly documents, operation manuals and maintenance manuals
  • Create Test Procedures, Plans and Scripts
  • Review wiring diagrams and mechanical drawings
  • Select data acquisition devices and integrate them into test setups
  • Automate test execution, data collection and post-processing to increase test cadence, improve reporting, ease operation and increase safety
  • Support procurement and hands-on maintenance of the test fixtures
  • Source and coordinate external suppliers
  • Define the Certification and Conformity path for the integrated test asset
  • Execute Manual and Automated Test cases, analyze results
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical and software issues during testing
  • Maintain test assets, configuration management, calibration log and upgrade them with the latest hardware and software versions
  • Ensure and improve safety protocols
