Requirements

  • Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving (e.g., using AI-powered tools, automating workflows, analyzing AI-driven insights, exploring AI's potential impact)
  • 9+ years of overall experience in ServiceNow and Javascript, preferably with 2+ years of experience with Cloud infrastructure technologies like GCP/Azure/AWS
  • Passion for JavaScript and the Web as a platform, reusability, and componentization
  • Experience with modern UI frameworks like Angular, React, or Vue
  • Experience in provisioning, deploying applications or services in Cloud environments and integrating with Cloud infrastructure modules and APIs
  • Comprehensive understanding of containerization, cloud technologies, and distributed computing paradigms
  • Familiarity with automated testing frameworks (e.g., Cypress, Jest, Selenium, TestNg) and integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines
  • Understanding of software quality principles including reliability, observability, and production readiness
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex systems and optimize performance across the stack
  • Experience with AI-powered tools or workflows, including validation of datasets, model predictions, and inference consistency
  • Comfort with development tools such as IDEs, debuggers, profilers, source control, and Unix-based systems
  • Ability to manage projects with material technical risk at a team level
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with a focus on design and building reusable, scalable components
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with global teams
  • Certifications in cloud technologies or AI (plus)
  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field

Responsibilities

  • Build high-quality, clean, scalable, and reusable code by enforcing best practices around software engineering architecture and processes (e.g., Code Reviews, Unit testing)
  • Work with product owners to understand detailed requirements and own code from design, implementation, test automation, and delivery of high-quality products to users
  • Design software that is simple to use, allowing customers to extend and customize functionality to meet their specific needs
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of new products and features while enhancing the existing product suite
  • Integrate automated testing into development workflows to ensure consistent quality across releases
  • Participate in design and code reviews, ensuring best practices in performance, maintainability, and testability
  • Develop comprehensive test strategies covering functional, regression, integration, and performance aspects
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement by sharing best practices in engineering and quality
  • Promote a culture of engineering craftsmanship, knowledge-sharing, and thoughtful quality practices across the team
  • Be a mentor for colleagues and help promote knowledge-sharing
