The Staff Android Engineer will design, debug, build, and ship medium to large-scale Android solutions that promote a healthy and inclusive internet, drive engineering decisions and feature development with a clear focus on delivering user value, become a member of a hardworking, diverse, and geographically distributed team responsible for the Firefox mobile applications and our ecosystem of open-source Android components, closely collaborate with partners to understand, define, clarify scope, solidify requirements, and drive initiatives, effectively communicate the engineering development perspective and discuss sophisticated topics with technical and non-technical team members, define and uphold standards for quality through constructive code reviews, bug fixing, testing, and coding practices, work closely with specialist Gecko teams to bring browser functionality to Android, and address problems that span all levels from the Java API layer, to JavaScript and into the C++ browser engine.
