Requirements
A minimum of 4 years experience in React.js or React Native is required, along with strong computer science fundamentals and a focus on building high-quality mobile and web UIs. Experience with React Native and React ecosystems (Hooks, Components, Context, Redux), leading large-scale product delivery without performance bottlenecks, writing maintainable and testable TypeScript code with best practices, and familiarity with REST APIs and tooling are essential. Preferred qualifications include experience with CI/CD, IDEs like VSCode, Android Studio, and XCode, and the Android/iOS/Web development tool ecosystem.
Responsibilities
The Staff Software Engineer will develop, design, test, lead projects, and scale new product offerings across Flex's core mobile and web platforms. They will collaborate closely with designers, product managers, and quality engineers in an agile environment. Responsibilities include writing maintainable code with unit testing and linting, documenting and testing TypeScript code, collaborating with engineers across teams to improve code quality, mentoring engineers on best practices, driving technical vision, setting frontend architecture standards for scalability and performance, influencing cross-functional decision-making, and proactively identifying and resolving systemic issues to improve developer productivity.
