Requirements

Candidates must possess 5+ years of professional experience in mobile app development with strong React Native expertise, proven experience building and deploying production-grade apps for both iOS and Android using React Native and Expo, proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, and solid knowledge of mobile architecture and performance optimization. They should also have experience integrating RESTful APIs, managing application state, and translating Figma or Sketch designs into high-quality mobile interfaces, along with familiarity with mobile app testing frameworks and CI tools.

Responsibilities

The Senior Mobile App Developer will lead the design, development, and deployment of the next iteration of The Motley Fool’s mobile application, collaborate closely with design, product, and back-end teams to ship features, build reusable components and front-end libraries, optimize apps for performance and accessibility, proactively identify and resolve UX pain points, implement automated testing and CI/CD workflows, conduct and participate in code reviews, provide mentorship to other developers, contribute to planning and estimation, and stay current with evolving technologies while contributing to the mobile roadmap.
