Requirements

10+ years of experience as a high-performing engineer with a proven track record of delivering end-to-end solutions that drive business growth
Exceptional problem solver
Talented programmer with React and Ruby on Rails experience, comfortable tackling complex problems and delivering robust solutions
Proven track record of delivering high-quality, impactful projects
Experience in e-commerce or consumer applications (a plus but not required)
Able to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with a collaborative approach to problem-solving
Excellent systems thinker, capable of architecting and delivering large projects independently and with a team
Mentor and coach who fosters a culture of excellence and continuous improvement

Responsibilities

Collaborate closely with the Product team to lead creation of new features in health, including product education and comparison tools, automating user support flows, and expanding offerings of goods and services via health insurance
Architect and lead execution of team cycle projects
Mentor other team members through design and architecture planning, code reviews, and knowledge-sharing sessions
Demonstrate strong systems thinking and curiosity, identifying opportunities to improve the product, technical systems, or ways of working
Build systems to scale Babylist Health to $200M in revenue and beyond over the next 3 years
Become a subject matter expert within health services, defining how these services and features will grow and scale
Lead business-critical projects and make important decisions about how systems grow and scale
