Requirements

Product-oriented software engineer with a passion for listening to and delighting customers
10+ years of overall experience, including 5+ years of experience leading a team of engineers building and delivering features
Enjoy being a generalist working on both the frontend and backend
Prefer simple solutions and designs over complex ones, and have a good intuition for what will last and scale
Someone who has led impactful engineering projects and built architectures that operate at scale
Expertise in Ruby and Rails
BA/BS degree and 3-5 years of equivalent working experience
Someone excited to deliver quickly and hold a high degree of responsibility

Responsibilities

Collaborate with Product & Engineering leadership and founders on feature discovery, ideation, and implementation
Lead and mentor a team of engineers in building product features
Define and guide technical architecture decisions to support future scaling of Vantage
Take full ownership of end-to-end feature development, including tracking and reporting on customer impact
Participate in customer calls with design and product teams to gain direct insight into user needs
