Requirements

Candidates should have 8+ years of software engineering experience with a proven track record of delivering software across multiple stacks and/or products. A minimum of 8 years of experience with Ruby and 3+ years with at least one other language is required. Comfortability with both frontend and backend engineering, demonstrated ability to own projects from start to finish, and proven ability to lead cross-functional projects are essential. A Bachelor's in Computer Science is strongly preferred, and candidates must be self-starting, technically motivated, and based within North America.

Responsibilities

The Staff Software Engineer will design, develop, and maintain the next generation of the internal marketplace console, including scheduling, automations, payment flow, customer communications, reports, and dashboards. Responsibilities include identifying and proposing strategies for technical problems, leading cross-functional projects, evaluating and recommending tools, technologies, and processes, and mentoring less senior engineers. The role involves minimizing technical complexity, solving complex software problems with resilient and scalable solutions, working with external contractors, and testing, releasing, and monitoring one's own code.
