Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in Infrastructure Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, or similar roles in a production environment
  • Long track record building and scaling complex, large-scale distributed systems
  • Strong fluency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (Pulumi, Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.)
  • Deep proficiency with cloud infrastructure platforms (Azure, GCP, AWS, etc.)
  • Strong programming skills (Python, Bash, Go, or similar languages)
  • Experience with observability tools (Datadog, Sentry, etc.) and incident response practices (PagerDuty, IncidentIO, etc.)
  • Solid understanding of Kubernetes, networking, databases, OS, cloud storage, cloud security, CI/CD, etc
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, a "spidey sense" of where things could go wrong, and a commitment to operational excellence

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deploy new infrastructure services and automation tools to support platform growth and new product initiatives
  • Manage and optimize existing infrastructure components (compute, storage, networking) across 50+ global regions
  • Lead incident management processes, including postmortems, root cause analyses, and driving actionable improvements
  • Implement short-term and long-term infrastructure scaling strategies to improve reliability, scalability, and performance
  • Collaborate across teams to drive reliability, security, and compliance throughout the software lifecycle
  • Provide technical mentorship and leadership, promoting best practices and fostering team growth
