Requirements

8+ years of experience in software engineering
Proficiency in Go, Python or Java
Experience in working with dev members from other product/service teams and drive deliveries that span across multiple dev teams
Experience in building performant, scalable and secure backend systems that accept traffic through RESTful or GraphQL APIs
Passion about building delightful and high-quality customer experience for our end users
Experience with automated testing frameworks and CI/CD pipelines
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with modern development tools and frameworks
Broad experience in overall system design and implementation
Contribution to open-source projects or a strong personal portfolio
Deep understanding of software architecture
Ability to drive the design and implementation of major components of our applications, systems, and features, working across our entire engineering, product and design organization, where necessary to solve problems

Responsibilities

Drive the overall technical design of our applications
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior and mid-level engineers
Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs
Conduct code reviews to maintain code quality and share best practices
Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in software development
Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and workflows
Learn from and help shape our company's engineering culture
