Responsibilities
- Drive execution of multiple business plans and projects by identifying customer and operational needs, developing business plans, removing barriers, providing resources, measuring progress, and adjusting performance
- Provide supervision and development opportunities for associates through selecting, training, mentoring, assigning duties, building team-based environments, setting performance expectations, conducting evaluations, providing recognition, coaching, and promoting belonging
- Promote and support company policies, procedures, mission, values, ethics, and integrity by training others, ensuring compliance, and utilizing the Open Door Policy
- Ensure business needs are met by evaluating effectiveness of plans, consulting stakeholders, applying suggestions for efficiency, and supporting community outreach
- Set technical vision and lead design and delivery of production-grade software for logging and observability systems using Rust, Golang or similar, ensuring best practices in code quality, performance, and maintainability
- Architect and drive evolution of OpenObserve-based logging abstraction frameworks for enterprise-scale needs
- Identify, design, and deliver strategic features for the logging platform to enhance operational efficiency, reliability, and scalability
- Lead full development lifecycle for logging solutions, from design through deployment and support, influencing technical decisions across teams
- Partner with product managers, architects, and engineering leaders to define technical direction and influence platform strategy
- Mentor and coach engineers, fostering technical excellence, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement
- Support customer application teams and platform partners during incident resolution with high customer empathy
