Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience, along with 6+ years of experience in software quality engineering and test automation. Expertise is required in multiple programming languages, automation frameworks, architecting scalable automation solutions, advanced testing methodologies, test data generation, data-driven testing, and emerging technologies. Deep knowledge of CI/CD systems and infrastructure-as-code tools is necessary, as well as strong skills in test framework optimization, technical leadership, enterprise-level observability, monitoring, analytics tools, complex data analysis, and advanced SQL. Excellent communication, influence, and cross-team mentorship abilities are also essential, along with the capacity to set and enforce quality standards at scale.
The Staff SDET will define and lead quality strategy and test automation direction for major products and platforms. They will architect, implement, and optimize scalable automation frameworks, and set best practices for advanced testing methodologies, test data generation, and data-driven testing. The role involves driving adoption of new tools and technologies, leading cross-team quality initiatives, and collaborating with senior stakeholders to align quality goals. Responsibilities also include providing technical leadership and mentorship, identifying and resolving complex quality challenges, establishing and enforcing quality standards, and analyzing quality metrics for continuous improvement.
