Experience with debugging tools such as gdb, systemtap, tcpdump, crash, and experience with public cloud providers like AWS, GCP or Azure are also required. Fluent English language skills, including both written and verbal, are essential.
As a Staff Software Development Engineer, the role involves working on the proxy stack based on Nginx/OpenResty, owning the customer escalation system technically, collaborating with various departments and stakeholders, and contributing to the Kong Gateway OSS and Enterprise product. The position entails organizing and prioritizing complex problem resolution and bug fixes, debugging distributed services, and contributing to the development and maintenance of large distributed systems and enterprise software.
