Requirements

Candidates should have solid foundations in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS, along with a solid understanding of web technologies. Experience with a Front End UI Framework such as Vue, React, or Svelte is required. The ability to design and architect large scale web applications and communicate clearly is essential. A minimum of 8 years of experience in software development is expected. Bonus qualifications include experience with Python or C++, familiarity with 3D graphics in a web context, and knowledge of robotics and 3D spatial reasoning.

Responsibilities

The Staff/Senior Staff Software Engineer will design and implement highly scalable and reliable web applications to support Zoox's autonomous robotaxi service. They will collaborate with software engineering teams, product managers, designers, and remote operators to build new features. Additionally, the engineer will mentor and guide junior engineers, performing code reviews and promoting best practices.
