Our vision is to enable the advancement of Small and Medium-sized Businesses (SMBs) by developing the tools and insights they need to maximize their cash flow. Over 12,000 businesses and their finance teams trust Plooto to automate their financial processes so they can focus on reaching their true potential.

About the Role

We're looking for an entrepreneurial product manager who is scrappy, strategic, analytical, customer-obsessed, and a storyteller. This is an individual contributor role, tasked with defining and leading our payments initiatives.

In this role, you will be responsible for achieving the company's top goals by defining, developing, and executing Plooto's payment strategy. You will work with other product managers to define the best possible customer journey to make and receive payments.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and execute Plooto’s payment strategy.
  • Define Plooto’s payment experience and define TPV and monetization growth metrics.
  • Be engaged in Plooto’s Payment Partner ecosystem for both Plooto's and our partners’ success.
  • Be engaged with the fintech payment industry, highlight Plooto externally, and keep abreast of new payment initiatives.
  • Work with Finance, Marketing, and Sales teams to grow and monetize our TPV.
  • Identify and prioritize payment processing growth opportunities, informing product roadmap decisions.
  • Lead new payment initiatives and mentor Plootonians on payment processing.
  • Leverage data analytics and user research to gain a deep understanding of users and extract insights about user needs, measure performance, and identify new opportunities.
  • Establish an experimentation program where you’ll test and quickly iterate on experiences that will support acceleration of first pay, activation, and adoption of new payment solutions.
  • Document, manage, and monitor product KPIs and metrics to ensure they’re aligned and performing across teams.

Your Background

  • 10+ years of relevant experience as a product manager with 5+ years of payment product-related experience.
  • Deep understanding of how payments work and a proven record of delivering seamless end-to-end payment experiences.
  • Ruthlessly prioritize your work based on maximum customer impact and have an ability to do a lot with little.
  • Highly analytical, a data-driven leader comfortable with self-service data analysis to support decision-making.
  • You can quickly understand and translate results and how they ladder up to the larger goal set.
  • Proven experience designing, executing, and interpreting A/B tests to inform data-driven decisions and optimize product growth.
  • You help the team take big, ambiguous problems and turn them into actionable roadmaps, experiments, research — with minimal guidance.
  • Contribute and discuss high-level strategy and sweat the important details tactically.
  • You can make hard decisions — and help those around you to excel and continuously raise the bar.
  • You have a proven record of generating ideas that are fresh, creative, and practical.
