Requirements

  • 12+ years experience of interaction design
  • Experience driving Vision and future thinking while dealing with day to day gradual improvements
  • Experience leading multiple areas and presenting new directions to leadership
  • Demonstrably strong interaction design fundamentals with a flair for visual appeal
  • Proven track record of designing commercially successful, world-class software
  • Capable of working autonomously, leading complex design projects and delivering high quality design solutions
  • Capable of rapid iteration, feedback cycles, and experimentation; seeks understanding of customer needs and ability to assess and incorporate their feedback
  • Demonstrable ability to think about entire systems, with vision to design the big picture and tactical ability to break it down for incremental engineering builds
  • Exceptional facilitation, communication and presentation skills; ability to clearly explain design decisions to anyone in the company
  • Bachelor or Masters with specialization in HCI, Interaction Design or related field
  • Expert on Figma

  • Strong portfolio showcasing product design work with emphasis on interaction design, including successfully released designs demonstrating system-wide thinking, breadth and depth in interactive design skills, design process and evolution (business problem, constraints, assumptions, iterations, final product), and how designs furthered company objectives while meeting user needs

Responsibilities

  • Lead multiple areas of the product and help define the future of data analytics
  • Work with talented, data-obsessed team to iterate, learn, grow, and ship value to customers
  • Create simple and elegant designs that delight business users as they explore data and generate insights
  • Own areas of the product from design concept to release
  • Work with PM, research, customer success and support teams to actively seek end-user product feedback and collaboratively advance solutions to improve product adoption and utilization
