Requirements

Candidates must possess a Level 8 Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant discipline, or equivalent technical experience, and have a minimum of 4 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment. Strong project management skills, excellent communication and influencing skills, analytical and problem-solving skills, a process improvement orientation, and the ability to work autonomously are required.

Responsibilities

The Staff Process Optimisation Engineer will manage multiple significant Engineering projects through the PMO, provide technical leadership, continuously improve process performance, support Process Development on technology development, engage in lean manufacture implementation, interface with various departments to ensure product quality, validate equipment and materials, troubleshoot system issues, collaborate with cross-functional teams, analyse failures and ensure timely resolution, complete FMEA’s, develop FDS, SDS, and equipment manuals, implement new processes, participate in requirements and design reviews, follow quality standards, and complete travel assignments as needed.
