Requirements

  • Experience with distributed storage systems, such as Ceph, and modern distributed database solutions
  • Proven track record of deploying and maintaining Kubernetes clusters at scale
  • Hands-on experience with infrastructure automation and deployment tools like ArgoCD, Flux, Terraform
  • Knowledge of modern DevOps practices and tools (GitOps, Infrastructure as Code, etc.)
  • Proficiency in designing and maintaining service-defined networks within Kubernetes, e.g., service meshes like Istio
  • Strong understanding of Kubernetes security best practices (RBAC, network policies, etc.)
  • Proficiency in AWS and GCP cloud platforms, leveraging their services for enhanced scalability and redundancy
  • Strong skills in Linux environments and shell scripting for automation and troubleshooting, with experience in Golang being a plus

Responsibilities

  • Setup, maintain, and optimize Kubernetes clusters to ensure availability, scalability, and reliability
  • Deploy and maintain essential Kubernetes core services, including ingress, secrets management, and CNI/CSI
  • Design, implement, and maintain a robust Kubernetes network, ensuring secure and efficient communication between services
  • Implement and enforce security best practices within Kubernetes clusters to protect critical infrastructure and applications
  • Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD infrastructure to streamline the deployment
  • Deploy and maintain large-scale storage and database systems to support business-critical data services
  • Lead the deployment of new sites, regions, and environments from the ground up, ensuring rapid and reliable availability
  • Maintain, upgrade, and enhance existing infrastructure through continuous development, monitoring, and iterative improvements
