Requirements
- Demonstrates up-to-date expertise in pharmaceutical care, information, and best practices
- Ability to provide expert advice and guidance to others
- Knowledge of company policies, procedures, ethics, integrity, and legal regulations (including Board of Pharmacy statutes, HIPAA, State, and Federal guidelines)
- Skills in building relationships, partnerships, and aligning efforts to meet customer and business needs
- Capability to analyze reports, interpret data, implement loss prevention/safety controls, and oversee quality assurance reviews
- Proficiency in maintaining confidential information, documentation, and controlled medication records
- Ability to process and accurately dispense prescription orders, administer immunizations, and deliver other Walmart programs
- Competence in customer service approaches, techniques, and resolving complaints/issues per company guidelines
- Experience with auditing processes, compliance initiatives, and developing action plans for improvements
Responsibilities
- Provide pharmaceutical care to customers, including processing/dispensing prescription orders and counseling on health care/medication needs
- Maintain confidential information, controlled medications, and required documentation
- Develop, execute, and improve action plans by providing expert advice and supporting customer/business needs
- Build relationships with stakeholders, identify business needs, monitor progress, and adapt to changes
- Model, enforce, and guide associates on customer service, ethics, integrity, and Open Door Policy
- Ensure compliance with company/legal policies by analyzing reports, implementing controls, and overseeing reviews/programs
- Administer immunizations and other Walmart programs in compliance with regulations
- Create a culture of patient care, safety, and accuracy; set expectations, ensure SOP adherence, provide counseling/documentation, and implement improvements for patient safety/risk reduction
- Promote error reporting/transparency and write plans of action for root cause correction
- Foster compliance execution environment; train/guide on compliance initiatives, monitor billing/HIPAA/SOP, utilize audits for improvements
