Requirements
Candidates should possess a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree and be licensed as a pharmacist in the state where they will be working. They should have a strong understanding of pharmaceutical principles, medication therapy management, and patient counseling, along with demonstrated experience in dispensing medications and providing pharmaceutical care.
Responsibilities
The Staff Pharmacist will be responsible for providing pharmaceutical care to customers, including processing and accurately dispensing prescription orders, counseling customers regarding health care and prescription medication needs, maintaining confidential information, maintaining controlled medication and required documentation. They will also be expected to advocate for patient-centered care, adapt to a diverse patient base, understand the business aspects of the pharmacy, model customer service techniques, and participate in community outreach and wellness events.
