Requirements

Candidates must have a BS/BA in a technical field such as computer science or equivalent experience. A minimum of 7 years of professional front end development experience is required, including at least 3 years of experience with React, state management, animations, and Webpack. Experience as a technical lead or architect for an Agile Engineering team is necessary, along with a proven track record in mentoring engineers and delivering features through production. A strong understanding of GraphQL server development and architecture, as well as performance considerations like cross-browser compatibility and load-time optimizations, is also essential.

Responsibilities

The Staff Front End Engineer will act as the front end technical lead for a cross-functional agile software engineering team. They will lead code and design reviews, collaborating with product managers, designers, and engineering leadership to drive architecture and product features. This role involves designing and implementing highly visible user-facing features and applications, as well as deploying testable front end code with a focus on performance, maintainability, and scalability.
