Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, and have at least 5 years of experience as a Data Engineer, with a strong background in data processing and storage. They should have experience with scalable data processing platforms, ETL processes, and data modeling, and a desire to take ownership of data systems to make them world class.

Responsibilities

As a Staff Data Engineer at Life360, you will design, implement, and manage scalable data processing platforms for real-time analytics and exploratory data analysis, manage the financial data from ingestion through ETL to storage and batch processing, automate, test, and harden all data workflows, architect logical and physical data models, and collaborate across data teams, engineering, data science, and analytics to understand their needs and apply engineering best practices. You will also architect and develop systems and algorithms for distributed real-time analytics and data processing.
