Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related technical field (equivalent experience considered in lieu of a degree, e.g., 7+ years in data architecture across enterprise programs)
  • Business Acumen: Ability to translate business strategy into data architecture and identify predictive/prescriptive analytics opportunities
  • Strong understanding of KPIs, ROI, and value-driven data solutions across domains like Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, and Customer Experience
  • Knowledge of data governance, compliance, and risk management
  • Leadership: Acts as strategic advisor on data strategy and design discussions; leads design of scalable business data solutions using data lakes, warehouses, semantic layers, knowledge graphs
  • Mentors teams, drives cross-functional alignment, and communicates effectively with executives and technical teams

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business teams to understand data needs and translate them into scalable architecture and models
  • Design enterprise-grade data solutions, including data lakes, warehouses, and semantic layers (including concepts such as knowledge graph and data ontology)
  • Define and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models aligned with business strategy
  • Lead the development of dashboards, KPIs, and analytics solutions that provide actionable insights
  • Identify predictive and prescriptive use cases and requirements from business discussions
  • Drive data governance, quality, and stewardship initiatives across business domains
  • Evaluate and integrate AI/ML capabilities into data architecture to support predictive and prescriptive analytics
  • Provide architectural guidance on cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) for data solutions
  • Act as a strategic advisor to leadership on data strategy, architecture, and innovation
