Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
1–2 years of experience, ideally in a mix of public and private accounting
Ability to read and analyze financial statements and reports
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and comfortable learning new systems
Exposure to ERP systems (NetSuite preferred); interest in AI-driven automation tools a plus
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Comfort with ambiguity and adaptability in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
CPA or parts passed preferred

Responsibilities

Prepare journal entries, account analyses, and balance sheet reconciliations
Support month-end close processes for the following areas: cash, payroll, accruals, and operating expenses
Perform bank reconciliations and assist with maintaining general ledger integrity
Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls
Respond to internal and external audit requests and assist with annual financial statement audit
Analyze fluctuations in financial statements to ensure completeness and accuracy
Partner with accounting management to improve accounting processes through automation and technology—leveraging AI tools for data validation, reconciliation, and reporting efficiency
Support implementation of accounting process enhancements, including AI-assisted workflows and analytics dashboards to improve accuracy and timeliness
