Position Overview

Granicus is seeking a motivated and effective leader to join its dynamic and high-performing Accounting team. The ideal candidate will be resourceful, flexible, enjoy problem-solving, and be effective at managing relationships and communication. This role involves partnering with internal and external customers to drive success for the Company.

Responsibilities

• Posting Revenue and deferred Revenue Journal entries.
• Assisting with Revenue Reviews each Month End.
• Helping prepare Revenue Reporting for ELT/Board of Directors.
• Assisting with Business Line specific Revenue inquiries.
• Helping maintain accurate data for correct recognition in Netsuite.
• Assisting in month-end close activities.
• Assisting with various accounting activities for the integration of acquired companies.
• Assisting with multiple ad hoc projects specific to acquisitions.
• Assisting in supplying documentation for a yearly external audit.
• Performing monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
• Having knowledge of GAAP Revenue Accounting Standards.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of related experience in related Accounting Roles.
• A BA/BS in Accounting or a related field.
• Strong communication skills with team members and customers.
• Intermediate MS Office skills.
• Detail-oriented with exceptional problem-solving skills.
• Effective project management skills, including challenging the status quo and identifying needs to re-assess existing approaches/processes.
• Adaptable and enjoy working in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
• Ability to meet deadlines without compromising accuracy.
• Experience with NetSuite and Salesforce is a plus.
