Requirements

Candidates should have at least 2 years of professional web development experience with proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. A solid understanding of server-side vs. client-side rendering, browser developer tools for debugging, and techniques for optimizing load times is required. Experience with CMS platforms, no-SQL databases like MongoDB, advanced CSS, modern JavaScript features, web performance optimization, Core Web Vitals, progressive enhancement, and interpreting error logs is also necessary. The ability to translate design mockups into responsive websites is essential.

Responsibilities

The Sr. Web Developer will collaborate with a CMS Lead Developer to complete client contracts and projects, and work with a CMS Project Manager to receive application data. Responsibilities include setting up applications within the CMS tool, creating CMS admin tools and widgets, testing completed work for functionality, and completing all programming tasks according to company code standards. The role involves responding to change requests, managing timelines for on-time delivery, updating ticket and project notes daily in the CRM, maintaining accurate time records, and communicating project status with the team. Additionally, the developer will contribute to the development and maintenance of starter templates, internal tools, and component libraries through GitHub.
