Requirements

The ideal candidate should possess 3-5 years of frontend development experience, including expertise in React and TypeScript, alongside a strong understanding of web platform fundamentals. They should also have experience working with content-driven sites utilizing a CMS and demonstrate empathy for users, enabling them to build lovable products. Furthermore, the candidate must be able to balance tradeoffs and find creative solutions while enjoying pushing the boundaries of technology and leveraging creativity to build interesting things, and they must communicate and collaborate effectively with peers and cross-functional counterparts.

Responsibilities

As a Frontend Engineer, you will steward a beautiful, fast, and accessible front-end web platform and maintain the CMS behind it (Dato). You will improve the demo experience at demo.mercury.com to assist potential customers, build new tools to support founders, collaborate with designers to infuse the marketing site and web application with UI delights, and spark unique moments of joy through larger experiential projects that contribute to Mercury's growth.
