Position Overview

Mercury is a financial technology company seeking a Frontend Engineer to join our team. Responsibilities

  • Steward a beautiful, fast, and accessible front-end web platform and maintain the CMS (Dato).
  • Improve the demo experience at demo.mercury.com to help potential customers understand Mercury's capabilities.
  • Build new tools to assist founders.
  • Collaborate with designers to infuse the marketing site and web application with moments of whimsy and small UI delights.
  • Spark unique moments of joy with larger experiential projects that contribute to Mercury's growth.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of frontend development experience.
  • Proficiency in React and TypeScript.
  • Strong web platform fundamentals.
  • Experience working on a content-driven site leveraging a CMS.
  • Empathy for users and the ability to channel their perspective into building lovable products.
  • Ability to balance tradeoffs and find creative solutions to accomplish goals.
  • A passion for pushing technological boundaries and leveraging creativity to build interesting solutions.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills with peers and cross-functional counterparts.

Total Rewards

Mercury offers a competitive total rewards package, including:

  • Base Salary:
    • US employees (any location): $140,800 - $158,400
    • Canadian employees (any location): CAD $133,100 - $149,700
  • Equity: Stock options.
  • Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package.

Salary and equity ranges are competitive within the SaaS and fintech industry and are regularly updated based on reliable compensation survey data. New hire offers are determined by candidate experience, expertise, geographic location, and internal pay equity.
