Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field, and have at least 5 years of experience in threat research or malware analysis. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential, along with experience in reverse engineering and malware analysis techniques. Familiarity with malware analysis tools and scripting languages is also required.
The Sr. Threat Researcher will lead the charge for understanding malware activity, validating threats against Falcon’s defenses through execution and review, and conducting reverse engineering when necessary. They will analyze malware samples, identify new techniques, and contribute to improving Falcon’s detection capabilities, as well as perform pathfinding research to support technology development and innovation.
