Requirements

Candidates must have a B.S. in Mechanical, Electrical, or an equivalent engineering field and at least 5 years of experience in the design, integration, and testing of electromechanical systems. Experience in developing and executing comprehensive test protocols for robotic systems and data analysis techniques is essential. A hands-on approach to testing and debugging electromechanical systems, along with fundamental knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and software engineering, is required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills for various audiences are necessary.

Responsibilities

The Sr. Systems Integration Engineer will lead interdisciplinary teams to formulate, execute, and analyze characterization activities, including collaborating with third-party suppliers. They will develop test methods that meet requirement intent, which includes protocol development, fixture design, and test method validation. The role involves leading complex root-cause analysis and resolution processes, as well as completing integration activities across hardware and software areas. Additionally, the engineer will support the development of tooling and test software for interdisciplinary test activities across the organization.
