Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience. Technical certifications are preferred, and the ability to troubleshoot IIS worker process slowness is required. A minimum of 10 years of related experience is necessary, along with familiarity with healthcare organizations and strong knowledge of software applications and operating platforms, storage area networks, Microsoft SQL Server, SQL Performance Troubleshooting, Network, IIS web server troubleshooting, Microsoft Power Shell, DUMP review, and business continuity. Basic familiarity with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow is also required.

Responsibilities

The Sr Systems Engineer will perform application monitoring and performance troubleshooting, including SQL slowness, network issues, and Altera TW Application problems. They will utilize Altera Proactive Tools like APPD and LM to proactively identify and resolve issues, conduct Provider details technical analysis, provide technical guidance during PPO Client meetings, design solutions, create architectural diagrams and documentation, maintain technical documentation, engage in technical problem-solving across multiple technologies, perform root cause analysis and problem management, contribute to team synergy through coaching and mentoring, participate in on-call 24x7 support, and complete other duties and special projects as assigned.
