Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or a related discipline, and a minimum of 20 years of experience or a Bachelor's degree plus 25 years of experience in Systems Engineering. They must have knowledge of the Risk Management Framework (RMF), experience in defining, implementing, and maintaining processes and procedures to meet project objectives, and experience in analyzing and identifying opportunities for process improvements. Furthermore, candidates should have experience working with stakeholders to identify business requirements, processes, and risks, and demonstrated experience in planning and leading Systems Engineering efforts.
The Sr. Systems Engineer will develop capabilities to shift to a new model emphasizing automation, streamlined processes and approvals, continuous monitoring and assessment, and network data gathering across the entire life cycle of a project. They will also work with the customer and developers to integrate applications, use best practices for system engineering and process improvements, and execute as a key coordinator between multiple project teams to ensure enterprise-wide integration of reengineering efforts. Additionally, the role involves documenting and tracking requirements and assisting in driving them to completion.
