Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, applicable certification or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of data analyst experience with strong competency in data analyst tools, systems, and procedures
  • 3+ years of Supply Chain data analysis experience
  • Work experience with SQL, Databricks, Power BI, Python, Azure, Datalake, and data architecture preferred
  • Problem Solving: Solves complex problems and develops independent creative solutions based on the evaluation of multiple options
  • Decisions: Independently analyzes issues of a diverse scope and functions with a moderate degree of autonomy. Receives minimal direction, seeks guidance for highly complex issues
  • Knowledge: In depth knowledge of principles, concepts, and theories within own discipline and working knowledge of related disciplines. Applies broader knowledge of industry standards/practices to assignments and others
  • Business Acumen: Understands best practices (technical and supply chain related); is aware of the differences between the company and its competition in the supported function. Has a general understanding of end to end supply chain and how functional areas integrate with others to deliver results
  • Communication & Influence: Explains difficult or sensitive information; works to build consensus. May provide process and subject matter advice

Responsibilities

  • Conducts continuous data exploration of internal and external data sources
  • Works with data engineers to ingest sources into the data lake, validate/cleanse, and stage for analysis purposes
  • Collaborates with business stakeholders to understand large-scale business initiatives
  • Conducts initial analysis to inform requirements and provide the full picture
  • Models, validates, and produces results, and then presents findings to stakeholders and walks through continued interpretations from automation
  • Balances multiple, quick turnaround responses to ad hoc analysis that is also thoroughly validated and answers immediate business needs
  • Evangelizes data and tools that increase organizational access to data and ad hoc capabilities to help business stakeholders draw conclusions and drive data-informed decisions
  • Participates in demonstrations on analytical tools and/or concepts
  • Continues to strengthen your technical toolkit by leveraging CSC resources, staying current with solution provider updates, and attend formal training as applicable
  • Collaborates with other analytics functions around the organization to maintain consistency and accuracy
