Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, and have at least 7 years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on pipeline development and CI/CD. Strong proficiency in Jenkins, including Groovy scripting and plugin development, is essential, along with experience with various build and test tools. Familiarity with consumer and enterprise operating systems (Windows, Linux, MacOS, iOS, Android) operating at scale, and experience with configuration management tools like Chef, Puppet, or Salt is required. Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or Go is also desired, as is experience with Git repositories like Bitbucket or Gitlab.

Responsibilities

As a Sr. Software Engineer, you will architect and implement end-to-end pipelines in Jenkins, integrating them with various build/test/deploy tools, and automating common tasks for a scaling organization. You will work with various operating systems, write and maintain Jenkins Plugins, and optimize pipelines to sustain growth. Additionally, you will mentor junior engineers, improve methods and processes, document procedures, perform code reviews, and stay up-to-date with modern technologies for implementation, while participating in on-call rotations and collaborating with internal stakeholders.
